Which Paint Brush To Choose For Painting Hobby?

Paint brushes have a lot of categories according to the work. People are always confused that which would be better for working as their hobby. As I love to do painting and I am not a professional arist, I am gonna tell you that what type of paint brush would be best for doing painting.

There are alot of shapes (types) of paint brushes i.e., every shape/type has a different use. But the most common type of brush that can be used for normal painting is:-
1. Round Shaped Brush &
2. Fan Shaped Brush

ROUND-SHAPED PAINT BRUSH 

1. These paint brushes have a pointed tip.
2. Has longish hairs.

3. The main need for this brush is detailing. It all depends on you that how much detailed work do you need. So choose your brush no. according to your need.

4. Number of the paint brush varies from 000 to 20.
5. Useful for fine lines and versatile for both oils and watercolors.

FAN-SHAPED PAINT BRUSH
1. Main use of this brush is for blending broad areas of paint.
2. They are extremely useful for mark-making.
3. It works well for dry brushing which requires a little paint on the brush; to apply roughly and loosely.

4. Size of paint brush varies from 000 to 20.

WHAT BRUSH I USE FOR PAINTING?
In Round  a. Size 2, S-52 for fine detailing,
                  b. Size 6 for water & poster colors,
                  c. Size 8, S-52.
In Fan  a. Size 5, S-50; 

             b. Brush hair- Pony

Brand- CAMLIN (I chose this brand because these are one of the brushes that are very comfortable in using and can easily be washed due to its pony hair. Pony hair is often blended with other natural hairs to create watercolor brushes and are inexpensive)
Price- Rs.15 (for basic brush)

TIP:-
1. 000 to 20 are the common sizes of paint brushes but there are other sizes of brushes which is beyond 20 but are not common for artistical painting.
2. The higher the number, the bigger or wider the brush is.
